Please reblog this post! We have worked really hard on this, and want to share.
But before you do –
The disclaimer: These characters do not belong to us; this is a work of fan-made transformative fiction using some elements verbatim from existing transcripts and other bits and bobs out of our own brains. Not to be used for profit.
If it sounds like a line or scene lifted directly from the original episode, that’s because it probably is. Some scenes have been left (mostly) untouched, others have been rewritten, and still others cut or created from scratch. This plot is different, the character arcs are (in many cases) different. Even the episode title is different.
A brief summary of our intentions with this rewrite – recommended before reading the script (spoilers for Series 2 & 3):
In the “canon” of our rewrite, Marian’s death is an accidental sacrifice. She puts herself between the King and an arrow fired by Gisborne, which is subsequently torn out by Vaisey during a confrontation, causing massive blood loss and tissue damage (or something to that effect – we’re going with it for now). We feel very resolutely that Guy’s actions at the end of S2 were unexplainable except as bad writing and an excuse to knock off the lady character for the sake of Robin and Guy’s pain – and made Guy irredeemable into the bargain.
In the rewrite, we hope to give a little more gravity to the loss of Marian, both for the characters and for the community itself, of which she was an outspoken champion. This means introducing both Kate and Meg earlier on, and spending more time on the repercussions that come with her death. We also hope to give Guy a more convincing redemption arc, complete with actual character growth and (spoilers) maybe some light haunting…
Anyways. This is the culmination of almost two years of work, and I really hope you all enjoy it. Thanks so much to everyone who encouraged us, be it either with feedback, or following this blog, or reblogging the redesigned costumes.
Funny how this all started with us looking at some dresses and wishing we could build a better wardrobe for Marian.
We hope to be back soon with more rewritten, episodes – after all, summer is awfully close.
Enjoy!

I require a BBC Robin Hood/Pacific Rim crossover. 😀
Mostly, season 3’s Guy and Robin as co-pilots.
Rewatching BBC Robin Hood.
Still can’t stand Robin. Admittedly, it didn’t bode well for him in my esteem from the very first episode, even before Guy of Gisborne got really interesting.
I kind of wish Carter had been in the show more.

uhm that is because Robin and Guy had a love to end all loves. Sincerely.
Lol. Yes. Yes they did. I have a gif somewhere of their intense love. (Well, staring at each other, but we all know what they are thinking). >.>
Staring intensely = sex. Also hate is the deepest emotion next to love (what this is totally a valid argument, just look at the entire concept of season 3). Also I don’t know how to cut for spoilers so please don’t read on further from this point if you don’t know the whole show.
Ok, so, basically, season 3. In which Robin essentially tells the jail warden of York that he and Guy are dating. And then in an audiobook, they get drunk together and Robin compliments Guy on his leather pants? This is the same mortal enemy he’s been enemy-ing mortally, right? Something’s not right, by which I mean everything is totally right. They transferred their sexual energy towards the same woman in season 1-2, then Robin transferred his sexual energy towards Guy’s little sister in season 3, and idek, dudes. It’s also canonical that they are never able to kill each other besides having all the opportunities in the world but they always manage to get rough wrestling and punching in? Then they have little conversations like this:
ROBIN: Show me an argument settled in bloodshed, and then I’ll call it winning.
GUY: Do not pretend you do not love war. I’ve seen you fight.(and if Guy’s smirk isn’t enough, there’s always the fail about how Guy is looking at Robin in promo shots with him and Marian)
NOT TO MENTION, FOREVER AND EVER:
GUY [to ROBIN]: I’ll be thinking of you when I take her to the marriage bed.In conclusion: yeah.
Truth. All of it is truth. I regret nothing.
Ahaha omg. As much as Robin always always irritated me, there was definitely an undeniable frission between him and Guy.
