Tom: I can’t. Allison’s taking me out.
Hal: How’s the investigation going? Any leads? I was thinking now that you’re helping me get my cravings in check, I could help you.
Tom: Actually, it’s a good way for me and Allison to…hang around together. Alone. You understand, don’t you?
Hal: Of course, of course.
SO.
Hal tells us he has apparently seduced “thousands” of women.
Now, it is possible that some of these ladies only required him to tip them the wink and they swooned at his feet.
HOWEVER, he must have written a lot of poems and spoken to a lot of fathers for the rest…right?
