Rewatching BBC Robin Hood.
Still can’t stand Robin. Admittedly, it didn’t bode well for him in my esteem from the very first episode, even before Guy of Gisborne got really interesting.
Robo-Guy will never stop being funny.
Riddle me this
Is Bruce Wayne’s mum in Batman Begins also the Sheriff of Nottingham’s sister, Davina, from BBC Robin Hood?
Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn in Robin and Marian (1976)
(note: Sean Connery, at 46, played an older Robin, years after his legendary days. This year, Russell Crowe, at 46, plays Robin before he was an outlaw. )
Robin and Marian is my favourite Robin Hood film. It is actually perfect. Aside from when Sean climbs out of a tree in a skirt. :/
Still, I recommend this film to everyone.
