dear tumblr,
thank you for fixing the in-line reblogs so that it doesn’t roll me back to the top of the page after i post something. when i was 40-50 pages deep on the “infinite” dash, that was…agitating.
also thank you for the new tag system, negl, it’s pretty boss.
not very awesome at all: removing text i add to shit i reblog. this has happened like 6 times now and i’m tired of having to rewrite everything, that last thing i did was funnier and more cogent the first time.
irritating as fuck: about ¼ of the time the overlay opens up to post or edit a post, it doesn’t work. the text box is greyed out and it’s just broken and unusable. i have to close/reopen to get it functioning. annoying but not as awful as flat out removing text i put in on my reblogs.
still missing a lot of the functions of missing e, like the automatically converting long reblogs to text instead of links. because love of god, i don’t know what the hell is wrong with the coding but everything breaks tragically when i try to use the available “reblog as” button. i change to text, it looks fine in the preview, then when i post it’s all raw html and why god why.
also missing the hell out of my time and datestamps. ::whine::
overall, now that i’m not the unwilling participant of a bugged to shit and back beta, i’m hating it less. but christ, the shit that was initially rolled out, are you even kidding me.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m using Opera at the mo, rather than Chrome but reblogs are taking me to the old reblog page rather than the horrific overlay thing that takes 5 actual minutes to load properly (tumblr, that is not “seamless” reblogging, that is actually ENTIRELY SEAMS).
BUT the thing where it loses all the text you add to a reblog? I don’t think that’s new. At least, it’s been happening to me for a few years now :/
