Our whole team was whisked out the back of the stadium for a quick beer, and then we were given seats to watch the rest of the extravaganza. I know everyone’s seen it now, but for the record – wow. I think Danny did an incredible job, all the more impressive given that Britain’s best sport is cynicism.

*creeps in looking sheepish*
OK due to me basically running around all weekend and losing control (gigs, wedding plans and gin) and then throwing my hands in the air and saying “SOD IT” and sleeping most of Sunday, this is “SlowSurrenderSunday” Monday! 🙂
and first up i had to post this video as its done nothing but make me giggle for the last 20 minutes, what a set of questions!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWR1h-5EzUo that’s the video of the song that Frank was talking about by The Walkmen, The Rat .
These are possibly the greatest questions ever asked in an interview.
So come on, let’s be young
Let’s be crass enough to care
Let’s refuse to live and learn
Let’s make all our mistakes again, yes
And then darling, just for one day, yeah we can fight and we can win
And if only for a little while
We could insist on the impossible

Did anyone else think it was a bit awkward how Frank played ‘Father’s Day’ just after his mum was on stage?
AHAHA omg yes. I was thinking…. “heeeey Frank, last time you were in London and your mum was at the gig didn’t you say how you should really think about who you know is going to be at the gig when picking your setlist? FRANK?”

The first time I met Frank, he was hungover, broke and alone on the road. That was six years ago. Tonight, he plays London’s Wembley Arena. It doesn’t take a rock-star. This is how I met Frank Turner.
Frank Turner
No words. No words to describe how awesome Wembley was. How did he manage to make a place that big feel small?! Amazing gig!
