I can only reiterate the point that last night was an EPIC BROMANCE folkpunk musical. It was aces.

I didn’t stay to meet the guys after either. But I’m tumblr-old and needed to get a shimmy on or miss the last train home. V. tempted to go and see Dave Hause at the Windmill on Thursday, but… I’m going be at a tutorial Monday night and gigging on Tuesday night and… I may be too old for that kind of shenanigans.

I think FOLKPUNK is a great description of that evening. Magnificent. Also tempted to go see Dave Hause on Thursday. He was awesome.

I’m going on Thursday. I caved. I googled the Windmill and Brixton Underground Station and yeah it’s a 20 minute walk in the dark both ways for a girl on her own I’m…just going to have to pretend to be more hardcore than I really am. Why can’t the Windmill be opposite the police station like Brixton Academy is?

This was the highlight of the evening for me. Brian rambled a bit and then went down to the front row and pulled this girl out and got her up on stage to sing. She was a little out of her mind with omgomgomgomg but she was totally ace. The guy behind me said that she’s come with her friend all the way from Germany for the gig.

I maintain that Dave Grohl has a serious contender for his nicest man in rock crown.
