#ESPECIALLY compared to how tailored and clean-cut he looks at the beginning of the film #with his hat set just so #flirting and smiling and looking so prim next to Steve who’s a mess #and then you have that total devestating reversal at the bar #Even in the CATWS flashback Bucky looks so sharp; so we KNOW that he used to give a damn #seeing the before and after displayed in his clothes and grooming alone is a huge statement about his wellbeing #Sure he looks a bit more done-up in his blue coat but it’s not the same; he carries himself differently #his movements are more decisive and brutal #he definitely doesn’t look like he’s going to the future anymore – he carries himself like a man who doesn’t have one (via sonickitty).

I still want everyone to talk about how they needed something to do with his Winter Soldier hair to make it period-appropriate, so they just SHELLACKED HIM WITH POMADE. Bucky Barnes knows how to wear his hair to a funeral.
