Look me straight in the eyes and tell me your current music taste isn’t what your father played in the car when you were a kid.
My Dad had a tape of the instrumental section of the album version of The Doors’ Light My Fire looped. Just that. And obviously if we were driving somewhere the car stereo would just play it over and over and over and over unendingly.
I can’t listen to any of their music because it gives me bad headaches and had to basically ban the tape from the car when I got to 15/16.
