Because I like dodging deadlines, I’m in the middle of making a totally pointless Taylor Swift supercut of all the Captain America movies, aka CAPTAIN AMERICA: 1989. Here’s a preview of the final part of it, the Civil War trailer recut to “Bad Blood”. (Yes, there was a brief redub floating around tumblr, but this is an actual re-cut.)
Follow me to see the final, full cut, which – hm, given a fair wind and following seas – should be up Wednesday? I’m off to a book signing this weekend in DC for No Mercy and Archie vs Predator (Big Planet Comics, come say hi) but then… a day to finish up the mostly-done WS section, a day to do TFA, then a day of exporting / crying / swearing. Friends, you haven’t lived until you’ve seen Bucky murder scenes recut to “Shake It Off.”
(Side note: if any of you have powerful computers and want to throw me either film in Prores 422, I’d love you forever. Having to cut this in FCP in H264 is AGONY.)
