My town just got a new temporary rule where you can only walk around the giant volcano lake clockwise
It’s to help with social distancing but it sure sounds weirdly superstitious
“If one wishes to avoid the plague, one must no pass widdershins around the sacred waters”
The tourism guys have also replaced their usual slogan “Discover Mount Gambier” with “Plan to discover Mount Gambier later”, which is amazing.
Clockwise laking is apparently a thing now.
